As OnCue continues its rapid business growth, the requirement for additional Head Office space also grows with it.
With an ambulance fleet of x200+ WAV’s and driver companions (wow!) the need for additional staffing to manage and maintain our service is greater than ever – we are continually growing and thriving in our quest to deliver the best patient transport in the marketplace.
After acquiring an additional mews space to sit alongside the x3 existing OnCue offices in Ella Mews, we worked closely with Noa Ram Architects to custom make and re-build the space, transforming it to reflect modern day working within healthcare.
With a contemporary meets industrial finish, the new offices offer an efficient, bright and comfortable space, kitted out with modern facilities and welcoming touches for all staff to utilize.
The new offices have capacity for x40 staff and house the engine room of the business; the operations department.
Using the most up to date equipment and software, our operations team require access to interactive dashboards that run real-time data on current service levels (shown on the big screens), our uniquely set up auto-allocation scheduling software, and tracking software for all vehicles that doubly secure the vehicle by tracking it along with the driver.
And then there’s the basics…phones, headsets, computers and keyboards etc…!
Space for each operations team member to work comfortably and efficiently with easy access to every system required is a must, to ensure we continue to deliver up to the minute service for our patients and partners.
A new six-seater meeting room is next to a sleek, high spec kitchen with break-out area for staff to enjoy, complete with a barista coffee machine and energy efficient hot water taps, this makes for a welcoming and functional space.
Chief Operating Officer Ken James said:
“I am delighted with the new office and can see our operations team are already enjoying their new “home”.
The team work incredibly hard to ensure smooth day to day running of the operations floor which is a fast-paced and buzzing environment, so it is important they have a space that is kitted out with all aspects of their functional day to day technical needs, but is also comfortable with access to modern facilities and somewhere they can enjoy working in.
As the business continues to scale so too will the operation team, we look forward to welcoming new-comers to the floor”
